One of the best perks of shooting weddings is interacting with the couples and their guests. Rebekah and Joe’s steampunk wedding at Castaway was so much fun to shoot. The venue was perfect for them. The staff there is amazing, and did an awesome job incorporating the couple’s vision for their wedding. Did I mention how much I loved photographing this couple? They were an absolute pleasure to work with and photograph. They are big fans of bicycles and steampunk, and you could definitely see those themes in the wedding, especially the bicycle themed invitations, and Rebekah’s beautiful necklace. They had a robot cake topper, and Joe’s wedding present was a donation to the Tesla museum in Rebekah’s honor. I mean, how sweet was that? And another one of my favorite parts of the wedding were the macaroons (especially the pistachio ones) and the British inspired cocktails. Awesome!
