When I first met Jess, I knew we would get along. She, like me, planned her wedding for a tiny bit of the Oregon Coast called Yachats. Rocky, full of crashing waves and dramatic weather, my husband and I loved having our wedding there. Finding another girl as obsessed with it as me was unexpected and awesome.
She chose a gorgeous gown that looked amazing on the rocks, and spun as she danced. Joseph and his groomsmen wore kilts, and the entire bridal part wore boots. It was an intimate group–less than 50 total at the wedding, and made a perfect size for everyone to enjoy each other.
Getting married at the beach requires a sense of adventure. We never know what the weather will do, even in the summer. The night before Jess & Joseph’s wedding, it was blazingly sunny and really warm. The next day, the clouds and fog made a beautiful and temperate backdrop for their ceremony and photos. I feel like we could have been in Scotland. The mood was perfect!
