Spontaneous Moments On Your Wedding Day
When we photograph a wedding, all of our senses are alert. We take time to walk the venue before the wedding day, we study names of the wedding party and other important family names so we can call them by name. We take time to learn the stories of our couples and who is important so we can be sure to not only capture those people in the imagery on the wedding day, but more importantly, the relationships. We want to tell your story and to do that we want a true representation of who you are and what’s important to you and who you have significant relationships with. After much planning and preparation, even after 15 years of photographing weddings, we still go into each wedding day both nervous and excited. Not nervous of our abilities as photographers, but how the day will unfold. Not only do we have plans to capture preconceived ideas and shot lists to the best of our ability, we are constantly scanning for true candid and spontaneous moments that will enhance the story of your day. It’s these true gems that make your day unique. Genuine imagery that isn’t planned or contrived. Capturing spontaneous moments on your wedding day is one of our specialties.
This image is from Lisa & Ryan’s wedding in the bridal suite at Langdon Farms. While the bridesmaids were getting ready, these adorable flower girls who are also sisters, found ways to occupy their time and found a few new uses for some wedding day details. It’s these unscripted moments that become ingrained in our minds and add to the story of your day that you will cherish for generations.
