I am always thrilled when the bride and groom surprise their guests with a killer first dance. I like to imagine them, in the midst of all the planning of place settings and floral details, taking time for themselves every week to build and practice a wonderful creative display for their guests. Even if it is as simple as attending dance lessons together to learn how to properly dip the bride, I smile while I photograph them, knowing all of the time that went into this practice, and hoping that those hours dancing together built wonderful memories that will accompany them into their marriage.
Peggy and Gordon did just this for their wedding this August at Hawk’s View Cellars, and it was spectacular. You can view more of the photos from their wedding at on the blog at Mhari Scott Photography’s website.
