Portland Takes the Cake

This was one tasty tribute to the Rose City… from a very Portland-inspired wedding. The couple were married at Council Crest, had a photo session in St. John’s, and celebrated with friends and family at the Portland World Trade Center with a buffet of locally grown and prepared cuisine . The couple even transported their guests from Council Crest to the Trade Center courtesy of their fleet of environmentally friendly vehicles, EcoShuttle (yes, they own the company!) In fact, if you look closely at the cake, you can see a replica of Jesse, Fiona, and their beloved pets on the Ecoshuttle, crossing the St. John’s Bridge. Other icons included the Made In Oregon sign, Powell’s Books, Voodoo Donuts, McMenimans, the Portland Rose Garden, and many Portland neighborhoods (to name just a few.) And you bet we had a piece of cake – it was Portlicious! Did I really just say that?
