Persian Wedding at the Portland Art Museum

Portland Persian Wedding

I mentioned before that every wedding is a fun wedding to shoot, but some are truly memorable. This was one of those memorable weddings. When you have a beautiful couple, and a beautiful location, what more can you ask for? This gorgeous wedding took place at the Portland Art Museum, and had a lot of details that need to be photographed. The bride and groom and their families did such a great job on this wedding. The sofreh was very elaborate, and incredibly well designed and decorated. So of course we incorporated it into some of the family portraits. It was a such a pleasure photographing this beautiful couple.  They did everything in style, from getting ready at The Nines Hotel, to their portraits in the Portland Art Museum and the downtown Park Blocks. And did I mention that the food was fantastic? They also had the traditional Persian cookies and candies, which are amazingly delicious. For their reception, they flew in a Persian band from Los Angeles, who kept everyone on the dance floor for hours. Such a fun wedding to shoot.
