The central coast of Oregon is my favorite. Just far enough from Portland so the mad crowds of Lincoln City and Cannon Beach stay pleasantly north, this stretch of coastline has so much to offer. Rocky, craggy coastline, old-growth forests, churns and blowholes and seacaves, happy little cozy towns, and scenery galore.
Jessica & Daniel flew in from Texas to get married in Yachats, and brought a small group of their family and best friends. After a beautiful, windy ceremony out on the shoreline, they all sat down for dinner at the local restaurant, Ona. We went out for a photo adventure once dinner was over, sunset blooming into turquoise and rose colors. I loved watching Jess walk across the rough terrain in her Chacos, utterly unphased by the landscape. High tide crashed behind them, in dramatic swells and splashes. Such a glorious day!
