Cue the Beatles. When you add on some DIY wedding projects, the thing people most often forget is someone still has to set it all up! In the case of Bethy and Dan’s wedding they rented a home for their intimate wedding and set up an elaborate dinner table full of hand-embroidered napkins and little animals of a woodland theme. A family friend helped to arrange the winter white flowers and evergreen sprigs along the dining table. It fit in perfectly with their wedding ceremony amongst the redwoods of Hoyt Arboretum. But when it came to getting everything ready, Bethy and Dan were still in the arboretum with me for their wedding portraits and all their guests went back to the house. So they had the full table set up before I even arrived… with a little help from their friends. My favorite part? A friend embroidered different woodland creatures on a napkin for each guest.
