My sister asked when I knew that the camera was my thing……
I told her it was the first time I looked through the viewfinder and realized I got to keep what I saw….to shape it and share it. Raised on photography, I have spent my days, camera in hand, watching life eddy and pool around me like a wide, wild river.
Wedding photography is a lot like that river….there is always a story to tell and my job is to tell it with wit and passion.
If my style were a menu item, the description would go something like this:
A healthy serving of documentary laced with grace and whimsy…….just a light sprinkling of traditional to keep mom happy.
I have been happily settled in Portland since 1979 and weddings have been my work for 22 years.
Serving the Great Pacific Northwest and beyond….have passport, will travel.
