Holiday Weddings – An Ornament Guest Book

Planning a holiday wedding? Weddings during the season have their own jubilant style. We see brides accessorizing with fluffy white stoles, cashmere shrugs, fur lined capes…we’ve even had the fun of photographing a bride in her special wedding Uggs. The decor for a holiday-themed wedding can be rustic, woodsy, with fresh pine swags and centerpieces to the sparkliest of winter wonderland glitter. An array of candles in different shapes and sizes add warmth and romance to a winter wedding ceremony, and chances are your venue will already be decked out in all it’s holiday finery.

Nikki and Chris’s holiday wedding at Timberline Lodge boasted one of the cutest and most clever ideas as an alternative for a guest book. In leiu of signing a page in an album, guests chose a snowflake ornament to right their name and wish for the couple. Not only will Chris and Nikki have the happy memories and warm wishes every year, but will be able to take a minute to remember everyone who surrounded them with love on their wedding day.

Nikki and Chris has a very white wedding at Timberline – in fact, their wedding marked the first blizzard of the season up the resort. See the fun, complete with a very chilly portrait session on our Art of Joy Blog.
