We love intimate weddings in warm surroundings. We thoroughly enjoy teams of Portland wedding vendors that put the couple first and just put on a great show. And the combination of 23 Hoyt, Northwest Children’s Theater, Sammy’s Flowers and Turn Loose the Art rocked John and Paul’s wedding like no other.
Sammy’s Flowers brought their black, white and lime color palette to life with brilliant sprays of white flowers against a charcoal backdrop at their ceremony. Casey at 23 Hoyt flawlessly coordinated the wedding ceremony and reception, including a complete room flip between the two. They kept up with the waves of guests ransacking the truffle-parmesan fries with ease and all of the food was excellent. NWCT hosted the Friday evening welcome night and allowed for the best performance we’ve ever seen at a wedding! And of course, we photographed it. All of it. And there are a LOT of pictures to come.
John and Paul planned a wedding to entertain their friends, yes. But they didn’t sacrifice themselves. Little elements of their lives came into play throughout the weekend and it was a joy to see how well everyone pitched in to help them make it happen. This is why you hire the best team of vendors you can – so you can sit back and enjoy the wedding day.
