When Lauren and Marc thought about their reception, they probably didn’t plan for all of this to come together so well. They probably were hoping for a fair amount of engagement with their guests, but not quite sure. And while Marc was hoping Lauren’s dress would move well with her and requested just that, he couldn’t have been 100% sure she wouldn’t show up in the fluffiest of ball gowns. I know they didn’t plan on a thickly bedded sky of clouds bringing twilight on prematurely. Which means they didn’t expect their room lighting to perfectly match the post-sunset sky behind them. In the end though, this is what good wedding photography is all about – waiting for everything to come together all in a perfect frame and being ready to capture that image when it does to create a first dance to remember.
