Craig Mitchelldyer has been a photographer in Portland for the last 10 years. His work has been featured in numerous national and international newspapers and magazines, including the Seattle PI, Portland Oregonian, USA Today, New York Times, Newsweek, Outdoor Life, Golf World, Sports Illustrated, Athlon Sports and most newspapers in Oregon.
Prior to becoming a freelance photographer he worked as a staff photographer for Community Newspapers, a chain of weekly newspapers serving the metro Portland area.
A true Oregonian, born in Eugene in 1980, he was raised in Klamath Falls and moved to Portland when he was 15. He is the oldest of 6, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
Craig met his wife Jennifer in high school and they have two young children, Jordyn age 4 and Carter age 1. He also has 3 cats and a St. Bernard/Boxer mix named Lexi.
In his free time, Craig likes to take his kids to the park, snowboard, be outdoors and put as many miles as possible on his Harley. Craig and Jenn also like to visit Las Vegas and head to sin city every other month or so, it’s like a second home.
