Weddings are a romantic affairs. Not just for the bride and groom but for the guest as well. I was eating dinner away from every one when the I saw this couple sneak away from the reception and spend a few romantic minutes together. When I saw the guy kiss hand of his girlfriend I had to get a photo.

All this rain has had me thinking about the rainy weddings I have photographed. Usually in the summer it does not rain all day so there is still a chance to head outside and get some wonderful portraits of the bride and groom.

Longing for Summer

Every year when booking weddings there is one day that I could book over and over. Last year it was August 13th. This year for me it is August 4th. Bethany and Nick booked me for that day a long time ago and last year in August we photographed their engagement photos on a perfect evening on the beach in Newport.
