Cannon Beach offers a spectacular location for engagement sessions. The white sandy beach contrasting with the rocky cliffs and sweeping views make it a highly sought after destination.
Brandi & Toby wanted to spend a memorable day out by the ocean while capturing their engagement photos. We climbed on rocks, played in the sand, and even ran into the cold freezing ocean just for the sake of a fun photo shoot. There are so many great images from their engagement session but among them, this was among my favorites.
It stands as a powerful symbol of love. Two people standing side by side, gently holding hands, looking out on the world. This image was captured in 2008. It’s virtually timeless and could have just as easily been captured yesterday. I love that about this image.
Brandi & Toby have since created their own family with 2 beautiful daughters, both of whom I have had the chance to photograph numerous times. Like the history that is shared between Brandi & Toby, I too share a history with my clients. The wedding photography that we provide is just the beginning. What follows afterward is a beautiful documentation of a younger family’s legacy.
