Some of my favorite moments I’ve captured at weddings have been candid ones, like this. To give you a bit of the back story, the aunt of the bride was singing a song to honor the memory of a close family member that just past away. The mother of the bride was the officiant at the wedding, the crying maid of honor is the sister of the bride, and the groom is hugging their son. I love capturing so much love in one picture. Having over 14 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I am always looking for moments like these, so the bride and groom can look back at their album and remember all the little moments also. While posed pictures are great, they don’t really tell the story of your wedding, which is why I think it’s important to capture moments like these and preserve them for posterity.
This wedding was shot at beautiful Bridal Veil Lakes, in the historic Columbia River Gorge. Such a beautiful setting for a beautiful wedding.
