This June, I joined Angela and John (or Angie & Fuzz as I came to know them) down a country road at Alloro Vineyard in Sherwood for their wedding day. Alloro doesn’t host a lot of weddings, so this was a rare treat. The tall columns of trees that frame the vines make for a beautiful tunnel–perfect for a small ceremony reserved for close family and friends.
It was over 100 degrees that day, but they make it look easy. I think we all cried during their immensely personal, touching ceremony as it united three children and two families together. The sunset graced us with fiery pinks and oranges as they all enjoyed tapas, wine and Moscow Mules on the patio, the music from their live band wafting over the evening breeze. It was a fantastic day in Oregon’s lovely wine country.
