A Moment in the Sun

There are two things I make sure I achieve when shooting group (or formal) shots at a wedding. The first one is……pose the subjects well in a beautiful or fun setting. The second one is don’t take too long! The bride and groom – and everyone else who is in the group photos – didn’t come to the wedding that day to spend hours posing for photographs. Everyone wants to get back to the party so they can talk to the guests who have traveled near and far to attend. This photo took about 4 minutes to pose and shoot, maybe three! There’s no reason a posed photo has to take a long time and become a source of frustration on an otherwise amazing day.
