Dancing On Broadway

Kassie & Troy are fabulous…I had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours with these two last Saturday for their engagement session. We started at Hoyt Arboretum in NW Portland and ended up on the Broadway Bridge in Downtown Portland.

Kassie and Troy are so in love and so comfortable with each other, so it didn’t take long to get them to completely relax in front of my camera. I had a ridiculous amount of fun photographing them.

I took this photo when we were officially “done” with our session. It had been a beautiful shoot. I had everything I needed (and then some) and I knew I had captured the perfect collection of photographs…and then Troy started spontaneously dancing with Kassie on the Broadway Bridge. It turns out that I was wrong – I needed this one last photograph. I get all choked up when I look at it, actually, because it feels so perfectly like Kassie & Troy.

I can’t wait for their wedding this April!
