Wedding day toasts range from the classic, “May you both live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live” to the more humorous, “I’ve known the bride her entire life…” (father of the bride).
Trying to capture the swirling emotions during a toast can be quite a challenge. A memorable image of the toast is much more than the Maid of Honor holding a microphone. How do you tell the story? Personally, I love getting an image with the subject’s thoughts on paper. Handwritten and thoughtful. Few are the people who can stand in front of a crowd and pull beautiful, funny, heartfelt words out of thin air. The attention to little details all help tell the story of your day and why you should never trust your memories to anyone but a professional photographer.
