Best come prepared to work those lovely buttons… bring some patience and a crochet hook. I have to smile every time I listen to the ongoing process… many fingers and a few ruined manicures in the mix! This is why women of the upper classes had ladies in waiting… can you imagine getting dressed this way every day?

Great post Jamie! Ladies in waiting… never really thought about it that way until you mentioned it. So, inquiring minds want to know… do you REALLY carry a hook? Really?
Yup… about $3.00… get something small enough to be nimble…. those buttons are usually pretty tight.
