Little Black Book

randy-kepple-portland-wedding-photographer-72 Perhaps it’s simply because my father was a minister that I have this fascination with the little black book. I know how they get carried around in coat pockets, how eventually the hand written scribbles take over the typed pages.

They say there is an energy to the hand—of blood, truth and knowledge that goes deeper than skin. Thus my fascination with hand written vows, little black books with handwritten notes. You get the picture. And if not, I’ll get the picture and show it to you!

It’s these little details and nuances that make up the tapestry of images that will tell your wedding day story. Your life as art.

Jamie Bosworth - Beautiful post, Mr. Kepple… really good to hear your thought processes in this… very personal and that’s a good thing.

Randy Kepple - Thank you Jamie!

david barss - There truly is a sort of engaging sense of intimacy in seeing someone’s laborious draft of something of great importance to them. Penned in their words and often finished still showing changes and or their process to arrive at their finished words. I very much agree with you Randy; NIce post!
