This moment is over 15 years old now. I’m sure that all these girls are now young women, starting college. I keep it around because it makes me realize how important my job is in capturing moments that are authentic and honest.
You always hear people say “it’s all about the bride”. I think it’s simply because even as little girls, there is something special and unique about women. Just look at these girls. There is so much in this image that transcends the picture itself. When they see this, I hope it’s like peeking through the looking glass of time.
