Waiting to Exhale

This is Emily on her wedding day about 30 seconds before she walked down the aisle to be married to Ross. I chose to post this image because it represents one of my very favorite moments at any wedding: the last few seconds before the bride walks down the aisle. I like this moment because it is full of excitement and anticipation. It carries the weight of all of the dreaming, arranging, designing, and organizing that goes into planning a wedding. It is the precursor to, what I believe is the most important part of the wedding day, the wedding ceremony.

Stunningly beautiful Lauren! A wonderful moment and I completely agree with you about this time of the day. Who is walking her down the aisle?

Thanks guys! Randy, to answer your question, the bride’s parents were meeting here half way down the aisle and they were there waiting for her when this image was taken. She had these last few moments to herself.

Your framing of the bride with the doorway is amazing!
