After last weekend’s wedding, after we had already packed up all of our gear for the night and were headed to our car we passed the groom’s grandfather’s 1953 Chevrolet under the street lights. It had been pouring rain earlier when we were photographing the bride and groom together, but the rain had stopped and the car was covered with little droplets that reflected the lights of the building and the street lamps. I gave my assistant my best “pleeeease?” face and asked her to go back and grab the bride and groom for a moment while I unloaded a camera and lens from the freshly packed gear bags. I’m so glad I did, they are my favorite photos from the wedding.
