A Simple Dress

For some reason, I enjoy pulling older images from time to time just to work them differently. This lovely dress looked great a few years ago when I worked it in natural tones and contrasts but today I decided to try it in a bit of an antique process.

The dress itself is timeless and the place is one of our town’s most classic venues… Portland’s White House Bed and Breakfast. This 1910 Italianate is run by Lanning Blanks… he is one of the finest hosts I have ever encountered.

My wedding this coming weekend is there and I know we will have more than a few wonderful opportunities for light and grace… I can’t wait!
