Great light in the vineyard

It’s always a pleasure for us when portraits are scheduled for the late afternoon. Just last Saturday at Garden Vineyards, we paced ourselves so that this group shot could be last, when the light was slanting across the autumn sky. Robin and Jason had planned every last detail–and it certainly showed. The beautiful colors they chose for their clothing and decor were a luscious complement to the rich hues that nature provided.

What struck me most about this wedding was how helpful and attentive Jason’s groomsmen were. As a team, they were johnny-on-the-spot with a tissue, an arm, a greeting or a cool drink of water. He’s lucky to have such warm and funny guy friends. We’ll have more of this wedding on our blog in a week or two.

And a big shout out to Molli from Soiree. She and her partner, Krissa kept this day rolling along like clockwork. It’s always reassuring for us when Molli’s on the scene.
