Ok, maybe that should read, “there’s a pretty good chance that it’s gonna rain on your wedding day.” I mean, this is Oregon after all. The rain is something we just get used to. A couple of weeks ago at the Resort at the Mountain, we got DRENCHED! But, the reception was supposed to be outside, so by golly that’s where it was going to be. The tent will keep us dry! The only obstacle was getting TO the tent. Nothing a few umbrella’s and a groom willing to carry his bride from the parking lot couldn’t handle. I did not have someone carrying me, or an umbrella. I was just plain old soaking wet. But I’m an Oregonian. I’m used to it.
