I love shooting the reception. The nerves from earlier in the day are over, and the real fun can start (and the beer can flow, which also always seems to help people dance). David and Kerry’s wedding was at Gorgecrest Winery in Underwood, WA – a fantastic place. The venue is up on a hill overlooking the Columbia River and has the most fantastic views of Mt. Hood.
The timing of the reception could not have been better, the dancing began as the sun was setting, allowing me to create a photo that has a great background and plenty of action and emotion.
