Favorite Bridal Portrait

Sometimes I feel something special about a picture I took. It can be the story behind it… I was photographing the wedding of Mariyana and Sergey — two young, beautiful people. Our schedule was very tight. The couple was about to enter the church, waiting in the hall. I decided to use this moment to create a portrait I envisioned in my head. I pulled Mariyana aside and asked that she hold her veil like that. I took a few shots and let her go.

Later in studio, I created this high key graphical portrait by converting it to black and white. It worked really well. This image became one of my favorite ones from that wedding. Check out more images and read the rest of their story on my blog.

Loving the angles in this shot….The arm is perfect with the tilt of the head. Those eyes! Very nice.
